Op 1 maart jongstleden is het gewijzigde Benelux-Verdrag inzake de Intellectuele Eigendom (BVIE) in werking getreden, waardoor het Benelux merkenrecht in overeenstemming is gebracht met de Uniemerkenrichtlijn.
